Of course, you have to make sure that everything is plugged properly. Here's how the parts are connected to each other and to the PC.
- The wheel and pedals are connected with an RS-322 like connector
- The wheel has a 5v DC plug. This plug powers the dual motor
- The wheel has a 2.0 USB connector, which connects the device to the PC
If the device is connected properly, you can just start playing your game. While this is great if you just want to play a game quickly, it doesn't allow you to customize the racing wheel the way you like it. For that, you will need to download and install the Logitech Gaming Software.
Using Logitech Gaming Software
Alright, let's say that you already downloaded and installed Logitech G920 software. You already plugged in the racing wheel properly as well.
How do you set it up? Setting up the racing wheel is easy. You shouldn't face any difficulty. The followings are how the process will go roughly
A. After you connect the device and open the software, you will see the home menu showing the wheel and pedals. See those parts highlighted in blue? These are the parts that you can customize
B. Start with the steering wheel first. Here you can set up profiles, adjust the buttons, set the sensitivity of the steering wheel, scan for games and configure specific settings for it and so on
C. The next is setting the pedals. Set which pedal is to be the accelerator, which to be the brake, and which to be the clutch.

There are two ways to play with the G920 racing wheel. The first way is to connect it to the PC and just play the game.

(1) Perhaps you installed some additional software on your Mac mini to control your Logitech?
If so, that software's driver may be overriding the Mac OS X webcam software and causing trouble with the 'fixed focus and exposure and white balance' requirements for using Photo Booth's backdrops shown in http://support.apple.com/kb/PH5610
As one example, Logitech's http://tinyurl.com/ckfesn7 Troubleshooting page advises that their software may limit compatibility with some applications, Photo Booth included.
If you have installed any software beyond that automatically installed by OS X, follow the supplier's instructions on now to uninstall it, restart your Mac, and test again.

Movement in the camera's background field of view, even air moving pictures or curtains behind you, can also cause this.
Make sure everything is absolutely still, restart, and test again.
